I wrote The Incomplete Manifesto in 1998. Since then, it has been assigned as a design project for students all over the world. I love to see how young designers bring the ideas to life in ways that I had never imagined.

Fogo Island is one of the four corners of the world, and home to Zita Cobb and her Shorefast Foundation. In 2016, Zita produced one of the most beautiful design conferences I have ever experienced called, “Putting Design in its Place.” I was deeply inspired by the people and the place.
