New Tokyo Life Style Think Zone

The Mori Building Company commissioned us to help create a rethink of city-life in Roppongi Hills; a $4 billion and 27-acre integrated property development in the heart of Tokyo.

We were tasked with producing a marketing and communications strategy for the construction and launch phases of the project.

Bruce co-authored, edited and designed a 350-page monograph of essays and studies on the city’s future. Through hundreds of images, the book explores the story of Tokyo, interweaving the traditional and contemporary Japanese identity.

The “Think Zone” is a richly programmed event gallery where visitors can experience a centerpiece video installation, “Tokyo Countdown”, which, through the lens of “artificial nature” and other contradictory elements, posits the past, present and future of Tokyo in a global context.
